U N I C O R N S

So for todays class we had a free topic homework. Last class I had to take pictures of the pencils and I didn't like what they looked like. yes I learned a lot from my mistakes but I still wanted to get good pictures. So of this class I decided to photo shot my unicorn and colored sugar in a white paper. The same concept of last class homework but with the difference that I wanted to tell a story and I wanted to take great pictures. 

The unicorn pictures ended up beign a great success. They really transmitted what I had in mind and I liked how I've designed more the object and played with it to create a cool composition. Some of them are missing a little bit of light, I could have increased the ISO. Sometimes I am afraid of the grain and this is why I keep it as low as possible. Soon I will learn to use photoshop so I will learn how to add more light and brighten up these pictures more.
 
Everyone in my class liked the unicorn pictures.  They gave me very positive and constructive feedback. What really made this pictures outstanding was that they were original; they where not the typical beach photo shot, instead they were portraying something from my imagination. It was an interesting theme to explore maybe I'll consider it for my final project I have to present.

What I love about these pictures is how I have played with the focus, it helps me bring the public attention to wherever I want, it also adds a cool effects. I will practice more with the unicorn, as I mentioned it was original and attractive since it was something different.
