× LEARN how to use my camera manual setting so I can take advantage of it

× LEARN how to use photoshop

× LEARN through a class how to take good pictures (lightning, angles, frames and camera settings) 

× UNDERSTAND my camera better

× USE photography as a medium to communicate to peruvians and people who see my pictures what is the Cultura Chicha and for myself to learn more about Peru. 

× LEARN about the Cultura Chicha, I've seen it but I don't really know what it is as well as many peruvians


HOW ↴

× Taking clases at Centro de la imagen for a month 

× For three weeks do intense research about la Cultura Chicha by talking to experts and looking for online sources.

× Receiving advice and feedback from my mentor Mr. Arredondo 

× Creating a photography book where I will exhibit all my pictures

3. Attend Photography Lessons
Blog after every class (reflect on experience, learning, performance) 
Tweet cool facts learned from the class 
Tweet and blog a lot of pictures 
Take notes (when possible) 
DEADLINE: March 10 


4. Take pictures throughout my trips in vacation 
As I go in my trips I can practice taking pictures with my camera so that I gain some experience before taking the pictures for my project.

New York:

5. Attend internship with Gabriel Barreto 
Throughout the summer and 2nd semester Barreto will have many events he has to attend to take pictures. I will accompany him and learn from real world experience. Blog and tweet constantly.

6. Learn about the Chicha Culture 
Research about the Chicha Culture 
Figure out what it is, where it is and what they did 
Research online and talk to people 
DEADLINE: March 22


7. Take pictures of the Chicha Culture
Find places in Lima where I can find the Chicha Culture 
Apply what I learned from my classes and internship to take the pictures 
Take pictures of the different aspects of Chicha Culture 
DEADLINE: March 30 


8. Create final product

9. Blog throughout the process 
Blog and tweet through the process

Your project sounds incredibly well thought out and clear as to what you will be doing. I know you love photography and I think you will find even more of a passion for photography through your project! Can't wait to see some more of your pictures :)
