At the end of this year I will be applying to college but I still don't have a clear idea of where I want to go or what I want to do with my life. Before even thinking about my DREAM university I need to understand my personality and know what I like to do. Without a clear career in mind or what I like to do I am lost without direction.
|FINDING MY CAREER|
Before researching careers I took some personality test which allowed figure my strengths and weaknesses better and understand who I am and where I would be good at.
After doing the personality quizzes I realized what are my strengths, weaknesses and the kind of person that I am. However, I wasn't able to tell my perfect career after evaluating the quizzes. This is why I wrote down the thing that I like to do with my free time, jobs I know about that I like and subjects in school I enjoy and I'm good at.
Once I was done I realized that I realized that most of the things I likes connected to a business career. So far, in the Innovation Academy we've been working on many business skills and studding topics that are studied in business careers such as marketing and finance. I have enjoyed the content in the semester a lot and I am very interested in that area. For now I think that I going towards the business area, I don't know exactly where I want to specialize, marketing, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, but I do know that this is a career I enjoy and once I have a little bit of everything in college I'll know what area of business is my best fit.
#MYAMERICANDREAM
Now that I know towards what career I am heading, business, I have to find my DREAM college which fits what I want to study and the the of environment I like.
My DEFINITION of a dream college
Honesty I can dream about going to Harvard since is the best business school but for me my dream colleges have to be realistic. I have to put all the cards on the table in order to figure out my options. I need to see what I have in order to know what I can achieve. #Let's be real.
The criterion for my DREAM SCHOOL(S) are the following:
